All Inclusive Caribbean Vacations By: Paul Proffitt
Whilst there are many travel destinations in the world that provide all inclusive vacations, it is the Caribbean that most people think of first. In fact the number of all inclusive Caribbean vacations is actually in excess of those based on a bed and breakfast basis. Some attribute the popularity of the Caribbean islands to the predominance of this type of vacation; but there is no evidence however, that their popularity has grown specifically because of this move.
The probability is that for many people, the fact that an all inclusive Caribbean Vacation means that they can easily budget for costs; the amount of spending money required is minimal, a fact that is not missed by families. There are even specialist packages, so it doesn't matter what your interest or requirements are you can guarantee they will be met. Many people traveling to the islands are returning to see family and not so much is needed; they usually only need to pay for flights, but not accommodation or activities.
Although, the average visitor will find the all inclusive Caribbean vacation the least inexpensive. Owing to the number of vacations booked this way through travel operators it is often less expensive than trying to arrange it for your self. Of course travelers who like to arrange everything them self, would not consider such an option even if the vacation were 'to die for'. Many people are still unsure of what to expect from an all inclusive vacation even though they have now been around for a good many years.
No matter what type of vacation you are arranging, one thing remains constant and that is the room will be included in the package. All meals and any additional food are included in this type of package but that is not always the case; this arrangement can vary but the majority will at least supply a cooked or continental breakfast. It is strange how many people still believe if they have booked a full board package that it actually means all inclusive!
The difference is that an all inclusive Caribbean vacation package will include all food and drinks whereas a full board vacation only generally includes breakfast, lunch and an evening meal. Many vacation packages may include vouchers or discounts for activities that visitors can participate in; normally there will be an additional (usually lower) cost attached nevertheless. An all inclusive Caribbean vacation will usually include other activities in the near vicinity; they often include dining at restaurants that are not part of the hotel which should create a far more interesting experience.
