Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 446 to offer special tribute
The Pasadena Senior Center will hold a Memorial Day celebration Monday, May 25. At 11:30 A.M. a special tribute will be presented by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 446 in Memorial Park, which is adjacent to the Pasadena Senior Center.
Following the tribute in the park, the Center will serve barbecue lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, baked beans and ice cream. The Great American Swing Band will strike up the band to perform some danceable favorites after lunch.
The cost for the Memorial Day Barbecue and Dance is $9 and $6 for Pasadena Senior Center members. Prepaid reservations are required and can be made at the center by Wednesday, May 20.
For close to 50 years the Pasadena Senior Center, has served the community as an independent nonprofit organization supported through membership fees, private and business support, and public sector funding for its outreach programs. The center offers a wide and diverse range of services, benefits and opportunities to its members and the public.
The Pasadena Senior Center is located at 85 East Holly Street.
