What Causes Cellulite And How To Get Rid Of It By: Kimmi J.
The issue of losing cellulite is the plight of many women who have body's tissue containing fat that has the appearance of the surface of an orange. Although not life threatening, losing cellulite is the aim of any woman (or man) that sufferers with it and of course it tends to get worse with age. Cellulite therapies are plentiful but losing cellulite is not easy and once you have removed it, certain facets of your lifestyle must change to ensure it doesn't return.
Although men can suffer with cellulite, it is mainly found on females, usually at the back of their thighs, stomach and buttocks because of differences in the way the muscle and tissues are distributed. Some of this is because men normally have lower amounts of body fat than females. Estrogen, the female hormone is also partly to blame as one of the reasons for cellulite because it is an aid in the storage of fat needed by the woman for menstruation, when she is expecting a baby and producing breast milk. There are other reasons for cellulite including being overweight, but this is not a direct cause although it can make it worse. Pregnancy is another cause because a woman's body goes through changes like the increased fatty deposits, weight gain and water retention.
Losing cellulite using a reduced calorie, high fiber diet, is now thought by many medical specialists to be about the best way to lose cellulite as long as it is mixed with plenty of physical exercise. Tanning often helps because is even believed that cellulite is not as evident on darker skins. Unfortunately, doing various cellulite treatment exercises may still not be enough in the pursuit of losing cellulite or cure a person's hormonal imbalance which is still commonly thought of as the main reason why women get cellulite. However, there are other cellulite therapies you can use such as massaging the affected areas, water therapy to flush the system, ointments that burn the cellulite and of course giving up cigarettes.
A more intense method of cellulite treatment is liposuction for example, which removes collected fatty tissues from the muscles surgically and in this process a suction pump is allowed to penetrate through small incisions made on the skin. The fatty deposits are massaged with rollers which combined with the suction, helps to break them down so that the bound water and toxins are removed. liposuction is a method of losing cellulite that is effective but unless you observe healthy habits afterwards, it can return and often in different regions. However, cellulite is not an illness or a disease but it highlights a more often than not unhealthy lifestyle. Finding the cause of cellulite in each individual is the initial step to treating the cellulite and then hopefully as a method of losing cellulite completely.
