New Figures By The Ons Reveal Britains Debt To Be 4.9 Trillion Pounds By: Tony_Dean
We in Britain will shortly lose our countries credit rating as a result of the figures produced by the Office of National Statistics.
It is equivalent to 3.5 times our countries Gross Domestic Product.
Every man, woman and child in the UK sharing this debt would have to find 65,000 pounds each, that when the average wage is under 30,000 pounds per annum.
Yet this country is committed to paying out several billions of pounds in overseas aid - I think of what I could build for this country on only 10% of that.
We have large sections of our population on welfare, with no hope of any work soon, yet the government can pay out sums like this that they have to borrow from the World Bank because we don't have any.
So, too, is our government paying prospective illegal immigrants across the channel in Calais 3,500 pounds to go home to their respective countries and they can collect that sum at their local British High Commission to start a business for themselves. We are very generous!
This has been going on since 2007 and does not look like it is ending any time soon. Billions of taxpayers money have been spent already on this scheme. No wonder we in Britain are classed as one of the highest taxed nations on this planet.
This madness has got to stop.
