Important guidelines: It is not proper to postpone any foreign language course as it is a completely new kind of course. Any postponement is deemed as a failure in a foreign language course where you need to devote a minimum of 15 minutes a day for a minimum of 3 hours a week. It is recommended that you cull out all the extra time in your hands and spend it in studying the language but never more than 45 minutes per session.

Partition your study into many small sessions. Class Attendance is mandatory and necessary in order to pass the course particularly if you are serious about learning the language. Run through your past learning on a regular basis as this is going to improve your learning for example check out your stock of vocabulary. Grasping the written words: Check out only those words where no conjecture can help or whose meanings can not be surmised. Read the chapters of the text book in small bits every day.

Move on to talking: Everyone makes mistakes so listen to what others are saying and start to talk. Learn how you can start to communicate in the foreign language when you talk loudly to your friends in the class, to your self or even to the dog or cat who lives in your home.

Writing: Hone your writing skills everyday till you no longer fumble.

Ask a friend to dictate a passage of the language and then later check it for accuracy.
