People like things that are personalized and there is no reason why candy bars cannot have this done to them for a wedding. {You can easily expand upon this idea, without costing too much more by adding special wrappers especially for the wedding.} Usually things like details of the big day and an image of the bride and groom are all that is needed but it is very effective. Because the wrappers are the same for every wedding guest, the cost will come down dramatically and proves to be a cheap but not gaudy wedding favor.

Packets of flower or vegetable seed also make great wedding favors which are also inexpensive because you can stack up a few different types of seeds and tie each with a ribbon to create an attractive presentation which will not blow your budget. Just to make this a little more exclusive, the seeds can easily be placed in a small container or pot that is just big enough to fit them in. As the pot is only a symbolic gesture, it can be very small; in fact just large enough to carry the seed. Although this may sound strange, it does keep the expense down as the larger pots cost considerably more than the smaller one that are only for decorative purposes only.

I always like the practical ideas that also look personal and a pen fits the bill exactly especially as you can have your details on them. These can often be purchased for very little and can be paired with stationery and it is something your guests can really use. Although this may be a cheap wedding favor, it will not appear that way to the guests who will be able to send correspondence to the married couple after the reception. You may also want to consider supplying every wedding guest with a stamped and self addressed envelope so they can send you their thoughts on the wedding day.
